About Jelica

Bridgewell X Consulting is led by Dr Jelica Grbić (PhD), a safeguarding consultant with more than 13 years’ experience across statutory child protection and state education systems.

My background includes:

• frontline child protection practice and senior practice leadership

• systems and procedure development within complex government settings

• interagency coordination and information sharing

• public health research (PhD) and training in psychology and counselling

This combination allows me to work across governance, policy, and practice without losing sight of the realities professionals face every day. My approach is calm, grounded, and informed by lived professional experience.

I am particularly passionate about the behind‑the‑scenes work that strengthens safety, including system design, practice development, resource creation, and relational advocacy for people navigating complex processes.
